What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, ZIP), bookings and messages, reviews, and payment method tokens. We never store full card or bank account numbers — our payment processor keeps those and gives us a token and the last four digits.
Security data
Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes. Sessions are stored server-side so they can be revoked. We keep keyed hashes of IP addresses and browser identifiers, not the raw values.
How we use it
To run bookings and payments, to keep the marketplace safe, to send the messages you need about your jobs, and — if you subscribe — our monthly newsletter.
Who sees what
Pros see your first name and last initial, your job details, and your street address only after they accept your booking. Other customers see reviews with your first name and last initial.
Your choices
You can update your profile, sign out of other devices, unsubscribe from the newsletter in one click, and ask us for a copy or deletion of your data through support.
