- Book your helpers and any vehicle
- Reserve elevators or loading zones
- Start packing rooms you use least
The day before
- Finish packing and tape every box shut
- Label boxes by destination room
- Disassemble beds and tables, or book assembly help
- Put a “do not move” sign on what stays
On the day
Be there when the pros arrive, walk them through what goes where, and keep a box of essentials — chargers, tools, toilet paper — with you, not on the truck.
